"Houses in this area seldom become available and when they do the next owner tends to live there for a long time, just like Mrs McDonald, who lived here for 60 years.

The house is deceptively spacious and any new purchaser can add their own accessories and furniture to fill the fantastic open plan lounge/diner where you will enjoy this vast amount of space to entertain.

There is a also a great size fitted kitchen where anyone will enjoy creating many fine meals whilst socialising with their friends and family in the adjoining dining area.

What is really handy, is the fact that there is a downstairs cloakroom, as well as there being an upstairs bathroom.

For anyone with little time for gardening there is a sunny aspect, low maintenance, courtyard garden so you can soak up the sun without the hard work.

The house could do with some further modernisation and would make an ideal first time purchase or investment so anyone has a blank canvass in which to put their own mark to a new home.

What the Owner says:

We were a family of 4 and grew up here. It was ideal for walking to school and to the town. Our mum never drove so she found it well positioned not to have to rely on the bus service.

The road is quiet and only a few doors away from the River Dour walk.

The house is a lovely family home but just needs some tender loving care.
