Details Situation
Spinaway lies in a popular residential location in the much sought after village of St Margaret's Bay. The village is well catered for with a general store, range of local pubs and restaurants, as well as primary school. More diverse facilities are found in the nearby towns of Dover, Deal, Sandwich and Canterbury with access to the southern motorway routes. From the Channel port of Dover together with Le Shuttle from Folkestone is access to the continent and from Dover Priory is a mainline rail service inclusive of the Javelin high speed link to London St Pancras.

The dramatic Kent coastline with its white cliffs of Dover, National Trust land and gently undulating hills, along with sheltered bay make this area a particularly attractive location to live.

The Property
Spinaway is a substantial, spacious well maintained architect designed family home, built in the late 1980's, constructed of an attractive brick under a tiled roof and has the benefit of gas fired central heating and double glazing.

When you walk through the front door you cannot help but notice the stairs leading up to the galleried landing with full height glazed window bathing the whole area in light. From the landing there are connecting doors to the four double bedrooms and family bathroom. The bathroom was painted by a renowned local artist in a Greek style and the rear double bedrooms have access to the balcony running across the rear of the property. From the balcony you can enjoy the panoramic outlook over the adjoining countryside and distant sea views across Sandwich Bay to the Isle of Thanet. Bedroom two has Sharps bespoke built in wardrobes and units, a walk in closet with a floor to ceiling mirror and an ensuite designer shower room featuring a hydro steam cabin.

Downstairs you walk past the study into the bright and spacious split level lounge with vaulted ceiling, an open fireplace and sliding doors leading to the terrace and rear garden. Just off the lounge is the Conservatory/Sun Room; a light and airy room that lends itself perfectly to a variety of hobbies and crafts.

At 28ft by 11ft the kitchen/day room offers plenty of space for cooking and entertaining. It features granite worktops and ceiling height units and is fitted with a Bosch integrated dishwasher, Miele steam cooker and extractor unit and a Falcon double Range cooker.

From the kitchen you walk past the downstairs WC/shower room

(which has been designed around a tropical theme by the same local artist with a clever use of mosaics) through the utility room and into the integral double garage. Part of the garage is currently used for a dog grooming business but with ample lighting, power points and water it is suitable for a variety of home, business or hobby uses.
