"They say you know within 30 seconds whether you will want to buy a house when you first visit. I knew within 10 seconds that this is a really special house. The first thing that stands out is the location. Walnut Tree Avenue is a cul-de-sac and this house is situated towards the end, so really there is no passing traffic and as such it is a really peaceful location.

As you walk into the house you are greeted by a cosy through lounge/diner with really nice neutral decor and there is a lovely gas flame living flame feature fireplace, perfect for those cold winder nights. The kitchen has been brought up to date and is really well designed attaining for maximum surface and cupboard space.

Something else that really stands out is the garden. The owner tells us it is south facing and attracts the sunlight all day and in-fact it is one of the reasons they have enjoyed living here for so long.

It is incredibly well maintained and has 2 seating areas and it is not overlooked as there is nothing at the back.

The area is very popular for a number of reasons. Firstly it is so well connected you can be on the motorway in approximately 5 minutes. There are local buses that will take you to town or to Bluewater and a number of local amenities including a Co-op, an off license, a couple of take-away resturants and 2 pubs within less than 5 minutes walk.

What the Owner says:

We purchased this as our first home and intended to only stay for between 2 and 5 years. 25 years later and we are still here. We have been very happy and have made lots of improvements over the years. The area is fantastic and the road itself is a very nice place to live. We love our garden and spend lots of time out there especially when the weather is nice and it is south facing and a real sun trap. We have lots of useful amenities close at hand and often enjoy walking in the local area making use of the nearby fishing lakes and Dartford Park.
