"Blean is a highly desirable residential area on the outskirts of the City. It is especially popular with families due to being in the catchment area for the highly-regarded Blean Primary School, rated outstanding` by Ofsted. There are also two private schools within close proximity, St. Edmunds and Kent College as well as a number of excellent grammar and comprehensive secondary schools in Canterbury. The area is also popular with academics and lecturers who work at the University of Kent as the campus is nearby. Blean Woods Nature Reserve is popular with locals as it provides miles of walking and cycling trails through stunning ancient woodland. You will also be able to access the Crab & Winkle Way, a wide family-friendly cycle path through the woods to the coastal town of Whitstable. The local village pub is within walking distance of this property and has a good reputation.
