"What a great place for the family! Everything you need on a daily basis is within an easy walk and that includes schools, a supermarket, and there’s a great choice of leisure facilities for all the family locally such as indoor football at Tiny Town Adventure Centre, which is opposite the Larkfield Leisure Centre with swimming pool and for the more adventurous there’s the Leybourne Country Park offering windsurfing, scuba diving, fishing and walks, so you won’t have to go far to go to occupy the kids or yourselves!

Known locally as “The Trees”, it’s an area that is very well thought of locally and the houses of this era are particularly sought after because they are traditionally built in brick and offer a very family friendly layout. They also lend themselves very well to being extended (subject to any necessary consents) either to the side, on the back or indeed there are numerous examples of loft conversions providing a fourth bedroom and en-suite. So if you like the idea of further potential and expanding the accommodation in the future this would cut out having to move again!

It is set well back, you don’t look out on to anyone else at the rear and as a result enjoy an enviable open aspect. The present owners have landscaped the rear garden and you have a patio immediately outside the kitchen and lounge, which is a good area for outdoor eating/entertaining and a dry area for the kids to play.

We have lived in our house for 17 years now, but can remember clearly why we bought it.

We lived locally and had always known Maple Close to be a good area and this property, especially, had a big and attractive front garden, which means it is set nicely back from the road, which we noticed on walking round the area - then it came up for sale! Well, we just had to have it and we have never regretted it!

We are only moving now as it’s just the two of us and we have retired, the children have moved out and we are looking to move to a bungalow, although we will be looking to stay within the general area.
