"Enjoy village life when you buy this gorgeous Victorian cottage home! Two double bedrooms allow you to choose which one you want for your main bedroom. Would you like the one overlooking the long rear garden or the one which has a door from it leading up to a loft room, which could be a luxury walk in wardrobe, hobby room etc?

The cosy lounge is just the right size and has a display fireplace as a focal point. The heart of the home is the practical kitchen/diner, which has attractive wooden worktops and the’ Belfast’ sink completes a cottage feel to this homely room. You will love the modern bathroom with its clean lines and crisp white suite and which combines a bath with a shower above it maximizing the potential of this room.

You won’t be disappointed with the garden. It is private and has an enviable maturity about it having an attractive array of planting. It is designed for low maintenance, which makes it useable at any time of the year. The design really enhances the lovely suntrap aspect to enjoy the warm sunshine.

This home makes a wonderful first home, great for singles and the retired too. As it combines good size rooms with economy and is in a lovely friendly village surrounded by countryside.

A short drive connects to J3 of the M2 and Rochester or J6 of the M20 and Maidstone. So you have the best of village life with town accessibility and commuting.

What the Owner says:

This has been the absolute ideal first house for us and we have enjoyed making it our home for the past seven years. Eccles is a friendly village and we couldn’t have asked for nicer neighbours, who we will miss terribly when we move. Being close to town and the motorways, yet still surrounded by countryside is a real luxury. We have enjoyed many nights out in nearby Maidstone and have recovered from our hangovers the next day with strolls across the country fields and to the Friars. Now that we have a young son we often find ourselves in the park opposite, as well as spending time in the sunny garden.
We love the character of our cosy country cottage and will be looking for everything it has to offer in our next home.
