"Located on a modern development in a cul-de-sac in Hamstreet is this unique, extended property. The entrance hall has double doors leading to the living room where there is a remote controlled gas fireplace with neutral stone surround and double aspect windows which help make this room well lit. The modern fitted kitchen comes with top of the range integrated appliances and the entire ?L-shaped? kitchen/dining room offers an ideal socialising space and is bright with light tiled flooring and two doors that lead to the conservatory. There is a separate utility room that has plenty of room for a washing machine and tumble dryer and two doors, one that leads to the back of the double garage and the other that leads out to the garden. The conservatory has a ceiling fan and has window blinds throughout. Also to the ground floor is a study with a side door to the garden, a coat cupboard, under stairs storage and WC. Off the galleried landing, the middle floor has three double bedrooms with built in wardrobes, two of which have en-suites and a fourth great sized single bedroom. The family bathroom is a white suite with shower over bath. The top floor has a further double and two single bedrooms with an additional bathroom with shower over bath.
Location
The Kentish village of Hamstreet is affectionately known as ?the gateway to the marsh?, being located six miles south of Ashford where the ridge of clay hills meets the flat expanses of Romney Marsh, an area once awash with smuggling. Traditional weather-board buildings and a generally unspoilt appearance make the place well worth a detour from the beaten track and with its railway station, small shops, doctors surgery, pub, woodland walks and a village Primary School it makes a perfect setting for those wanting a touch of the rural life with good local amenities.
Outside
To the front of the property is off road parking for about 2-3 cars on the driveway in front of the double garage. There is a front garden which is mainly laid to lawn with established plants and flowers. The garage has an electric double door with a further garage door that acts as a ?drive through? to the rear garden. The rear garden has a gravel driveway that leads to a further detached double garage that has two double barn style doors and a side entrance door. This garage is fully insulated and has electric running to it, perfect for collectors or enthusiasts or as a workshop. There is parking in front of the garage for additional cars. To the rear of this garage is an additional outbuilding with a lockable storage shed with access to the rear of the shed for outside storage. The main body of the garden itself is mostly laid to lawn with a tidy, established ?au natural? selection of bushes and trees to the rear. There is a small brick built fish pond and a patio area to the front of the conservatory. To one side of the property is a fenced off area that has gate access to a part sheltered hideaway for garden accessories or perhaps bikes. There is also side access from the front via a side gate.
