A quirky and deceptively spacious 2 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom home is listed for sale in the popular and historical village of Moorhaven, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park with 368 square miles of nature on your door step.
Together with 65 acres of communal grounds, managed by Moorhaven Village, with tennis courts, a sports field, formal gardens, helicopter pad, boule pitch, croquet lawn, woodland and orchards.

The front door of Zappo House opens into an entrance hall with hanging space for coats.
A door opens into a large sitting room, currently a sitting room with the original pine floor, a decorative cast iron fire place and two large double glazed windows overlooking Tower Lane. It is a lovely welcoming room filled with natural light.

A door to the side houses a downstairs loo, wash hand basin and a shower cubicle.

A wide opening and a step provides access into the kitchen breakfast room. Rectangular in shape flooded with natural light from the skylight, this room is decorated with white paint and cream tiled splash back, it houses a large fitted with a large oven and gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, the boiler and a very large wooden dresser. The bathroom is painted grey with cream and black edged splash back.

Externally, the communal grounds of Moorhaven Village extend to 65 acres with two tennis courts, a boule pitch, croquet lawn, formal gardens, sports field, on site nursery school, helicopter pad, and pathways leading directly onto Dartmoor National Park.

Located separately to Zappo House, there is also a small private garden area, previously it has been used as an allotment, as it has running water.

Locally, there is a pub within walking distance, a regular bus service to Plymouth or Totnes.

Ivybridge Town and Railway station are within a 10 minute drive. Ivybridge has a variety of artisan shops, cafes, a bakery, gift shops and a book store. Additionally, there are three small super markets, a library which has popular events, a doctors, dentists, hairdressers, chiropodists, a leisure centre with a swimming pool and a taxi service.

Ivybridge and the local vicinity offers a superb choice of Primary Schools and Ivybridge Community College a Senior School, there are also private bus collections nearby for Exeter School, Plymouth College and Stover prep and senior private schools.

Moorhaven has the added bonus of a central village bus stop where Ugborough Primary School picks up and drops of the village children.

Moorhaven has a wonderful community with its own Whats App group for local information. It has a mixture of permanent residents, long term lets, holiday rental homes and second homes. Ranging from Studios to 7 bedroomed homes.

It is a stunning place to live. Houses do not regularly come onto the market as residents tend to remain in the village for years.

The lifestyle of Moorhaven Villagers is hard to beat, its set in a stunning rural area, yet close to the Moor and close to the sea.
