"This chain free period family home has been lovingly restored to incorporate modern facilities and decorative additions such as a log burner and a roll top bath.

A lobby hall separates the two reception rooms. The lounge with its high ceiling. offers a large front aspect bay window and a reinstated traditionally styled fireplace with log burner. The dining room again features the high ceiling and with dual aspect windows allows light to flood through and has a large under stairs cupboard. The kitchen hosts a range of white modern units & fitted cooker and there is surprisingly space in the utility room. The bathroom features a roll top bath for extra luxury and the ground floor w/c is contained separately.

The first floor landing is naturally lit with a side aspect window and leads via a corridor into three large bedrooms and a separate w/c which could easily be converted into an upstairs shower room if desired; subject to local authority permissions.

Leading out from the rear door, the garden incorporates both hard and soft landscaping with a large decked area, down onto a gravelled section with inset log effect stepping stones and further to a lawn. The large attractive summer house hides an inside secret workshop area - great for storing the tools, bikes and wood for the log burner.

What the Owner says:

I always knew I would buy in Stephenson Rd, and I viewed 3 houses in the road before choosing this one. It offered a larger garden than the others and this end of the road was close for walks into town and local buses. More than that, I felt it had a soul and was instantly at home; this was evident despite it needing a lot of work to bring it up to standard. I have enjoyed the walk into the town to do the shopping in the daytime or a slow stroll of an evening to catch the local night life. When we have wanted to stay a little closer to home, we have enjoyed long hot summers in the garden and barbecue's with friends.
