"This upper quarter villa sits within a popular residential location on the south side of Greenock and offers generously proportioned accommodation which is the trademark of these properties. Gordon Street is set back from Drumfrochar Road and is a quiet location with a one way system making it safer for children. From its elevated locale there are nice aspects to the rear towards the estuary and Argyll mountains. This home requires a degree of modernisation and upgrading throughout but due to its size and location is well worthy of your current consideration. The accommodation on offer within consists of reception stairwell with 2 storage cupboards. The reception hallway has a large walk in storage area with external window making this perfect for a computer room or small office. The lounge is set to the front and the double window formation highlights the pleasant open outlook up toward the hills on the south side. There is an inbuilt alcove display area with storage underneath. The kitchen is to the rear and is accessed from the lounge. This is a good sized room and offers the potential for formal dining. There are ample fitted floor and wall mounted storage units in dark wood effect with ceramic wall tiled splash back. There is a walk in storage cupboard and that all important 'ceiling mounted' clothes pulley. This area offers some real potential for a dining kitchen to be proud of. Both bedrooms offer good sized accommodation and both have inbuilt wardrobe storage with bedroom 1 to the front and bedroom 2 to the rear. The bathroom has a white 3 piece suite with wall mounted over bath electric shower. There is a communal garden to the rear which is laid to lawn as well as a communal drying area which is also laid to lawn. The property has gas central heating and double glazing EER: C Reasons to view............... This is a good street and these properties are deceptively spacious in the accommodation they offer. There is a degree of modernisation and upgrading required but we are sure you already know what these properties can achieve when they are in good order. This then is a well considered purchase especially if it's for the long term as they make ideal family homes with a degree of flexibility thrown in..........
