  • A unique village property
  • Extensive spacious accommodation
  • Very well maintained
  • Secondary and double glazing
  • Mains gas central heating
  • Detached double garage
  • Substantial timber barn
  • Attractive landscaped gardens and paddock

Here is an example of one of the finest village properties in the popular village of Brimfield. Built in a Georgian style in the 1980's, it stands elegantly well off the village lane within its grounds. It has a stone front which adds to its aesthetic appeal. It has the added benefit of a level one acre paddock with a detached timber barn.

The house has been particularly well maintained. There is a front entrance porch with double doors which open into an imposing main reception hall which has a fireplace housing a real flame gas fire. Off the hall there is an additional door to the rear of the property. A feature of the hall is the waxed stone floor. A ground floor cloaks room has a WC and wash hand basin.

The main drawing room is particularly bright and airy having a wide bay window overlooking the rear garden and another side window. A focal point is the fireplace housing a real flame gas fire. An archway from the drawing room leads into a separate dining room which has two windows, one to the front and one to the side. Also from the drawing room a door leads into a splendid conservatory/orangery, with feature windows and an air conditioning unit. There are views all around the lovely gardens. This is a particularly useful room for entertaining.

The kitchen/breakfast room is well fitted with a good range of base and wall units. There is a gas fired Aga and also a planned space for a cooker. There is also space and plumbing for a dishwasher and space for fridge freezer. There are two windows. From the kitchen a door leads into the utility room with fitted cupboards, space and plumbing for a washing machine and space for a tumble dryer. There is also a door to outside into a covered walkway to the garage. The study could also be used as a ground floor bedroom if required. It has a window looking over the front lawns.

From the hall, stairs lead up to a half landing with a feature oriole window and then rising up to the main landing. There is access into a spacious and mostly boarded loft area. The master bedroom has an extensive range of fitted wardrobes and windows to both side and rear. There is an en-suite with bath, walk-in shower, WC, bidet and wash basin. There is also a heated towel rail. There are three further double bedrooms all with built-in wardrobes. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi corner bath, a walk-in power shower, WC and wash hand basin. There is also a heated towel rail and wall mounted mirror with electric light.

The gardens and grounds are a particularly pleasing feature. There are extensive lawn areas interspersed with flower beds, which are well stocked with mature plants and shrubs and there is the most fabulous water feature, with a well planted rockery and waterfall leading down into the pond. The garden leads to a level paddock of about one acre, which is behind a detached timber barn, measuring about 20' x 30' which has electric lights, power points and windows. This could be used for a variety of different purposes. Also within the paddock is a metal storage shed and the paddock is bordered by a variety of ornamental trees. There is an enclosed vegetable garden with timber shed which leads to a small orchard which includes apple, plum, pear and damson tress. Throughout the garden are a wide variety of both and ornamental fruit trees.

To the front of the property a stone drive can accommodate numerous vehicles and has lawns to either side. There is also vehicular access at the side of the property which leads up to the barn and also the paddock.

Brimfield lies about 5 miles south of the ever popular historic medieval market town of Ludlow. The village has a thriving community, two good inns of repute, a parish church, a community centre and a village shop. The village is surrounded by some of the areas most beautiful countryside.
