The Property
This lovely house sits in a quiet position of the street and offers 1940s charm. The current owners have restored the cottage and created a bright and modern family home whilst retaining many of the beautiful original features. The front door opens to the entrance hall and to the right sits a spacious reception room with large window to the front allowing for plenty of natural light. To the left is the generous open plan kitchen diner with double doors out to the garden. There is also scope for a secondary reception space in this room. The kitchen sits to the rear of the property and offers plenty of storage and counter space. The Location
Otterbourne is located approximately three miles to the south of the city of Winchester, providing convenient access on and off the M3 motorway, as well as direct routes to Southampton and Chandler s Ford with the mainline railway station at Shawford within a mile away. Otterbourne is well served with schools, namely Otterbourne C of E Primary School and Thornden Secondary School which are rated outstanding and good respectively by Ofsted . Additionally, the village boasts superb public houses and convenience stores, whilst the villages of Compton, Hursley and Shawford are all nearby.

Directions
From our High Street office, leave Winchester via Southgate Street which becomes St. Cross Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Otterbourne Road. Proceed down the hill and over the mini roundabout taking the second exit onto Poles Lane. Bourne Close is the first left and the property will be found on the left hand side of the close, identified by our For Sale board.
