"Lukes Barn was a group of derelict barns which the current owner converted in the mid 1990's and transformed them into the stunning part thatched home one sees today. The main house, a grade 11 listed barn, has been sympathetically designed and converted and offers versatile and stunning living space. The magnificent vaulted living room is extremely light with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, and a fabulous full height open fireplace centrally located amongst numerous exposed beams. The adjoining kitchen has a good supply of work units and storage along with a larder and cloaks room. The remainder of the ground floor comprises of bedroom three, excellent in size and equipped with an impressive en suite. The first floor has two bedrooms one with a stunning glass window looking out into the magnificent vaulted living room.

Outside

Lukes Barn is set amongst 1.7 acres of landscaped gardens and paddocks. A large graveled area to the front of the barns provides plenty of parking. There are several outbuilding scattered within the grounds. Further accommodation has been created not far from the main house, the one bedroom detached annexed has its own kitchenette and bathroom, finished to the same high quality and is finished with a thatch roof and its own private garden. There is a similar thatched detached building currently being used as a storage facility. There is a substantial straw barn, which could be converted into something more significant, subject to planning - it should be noted that the straw barn is not listed.
