"Even the front door of this house is a bit different, deep green with patterned glass, opening onto the hall where you are drawn to the lounge with it's pretty door and fanlight with blue glass and unusual pattern.

The hall leads you down by the cosy front/dining room with its bay window and fireplace, past the stairs and once you are through the lounge door the room stretches across the house and then archways lead you through the kitchen and hallway that runs beyond, next to the bathroom.

The kitchen is an unusual shape with a bay window around the sink and the monochrome colour scheme in the bathroom is a nice touch, complimented by the lightness of the room with its windows and glass panes to the hallway.

The hall leads through to the greenhouse/garden room

(currently claimed mostly by the two cats of the household but useful space for storage and plant care...).

Beyond this the garden is a haven of calm with a little pond and you could certainly makes good use of this sunny space.

Downstairs is a great space for living and the two good size double bedrooms upstairs make this a great buy.

This home includes:

  • Dining Room

    4m x 4m

    (16 sqm) - 13' 1" x 13' 1" (172 sqft)

The bay window and chimney breast both make good features in this room which you could keep as a dining room or turn into a lounge if you entertain a lot and prefer the wider room next to the kitchen as a dining room

    (measurement into bay window).

It has been used as a bedroom in the past too and with 2 reception rooms you could put it to many uses

'Let the butterflies come to you' is a phrase on the wall and butterflies fly across the wall out to the hall and this fits well with the flow of the house, its features and colour.

  • Lounge

    3m x 4m

    (12 sqm) - 9' 10" x 13' 1" (129 sqft)

Though this room stretches across the house it has a cosy feel but has light from the window outside and borrowed light from the pretty fanlight to the front hall - also the archways through to the kitchen and hallway beyond mean light flows through from outside. The tiled chimney breast is an interesting feature and the laminate flooring means the room can stand up well to being the heart of the house.

  • Kitchen

    3.8m x 2.5m

    (9.5 sqm) - 12' 5" x 8' 2" (102 sqft)

The bay window in the kitchen surrounds the sink area and allows extra light into this room which is part tiled and has a mixture of freestanding furniture so you could certainly make this kitchen your own.

  • Bathroom

    3m x 1.5m

    (4.5 sqm) - 9' 10" x 4' 11" (48 sqft)

The unusual monochrome colour scheme works well, with shiny black wall tiles around the fitted shower over the bath, and dark tiled floor.

Contrasting with the multitude of light in this room - a window to outside by the bath, a window to the greenhouse/garden room but also a glass panelled door and glass panel to the hall (with stylish curtains to protect your modesty) the light can still flow giving the airy feel.

  • Green House

    2m x 4m

    (8 sqm) - 6' 6" x 13' 1" (86 sqft)

This is a handy room, full of light. There's a useful worktop and lots of storage in here. It could also easily be transformed into more of a garden room, with seating to take advantage of the brighter but cooler days/evenings.

  • Bedroom

    (Double)

    11m x 12m

    (132 sqm) - 36' 1" x 39' 4" (1420 sqft)

The front bedroom is a nice big room with light laminate flooring. There's a fitted cupboard/wardrobe in the corner and the chimney breast makes nice alcoves to arrange your bedroom furniture - with plenty of space left .

  • Bedroom

    (Double)

    11m x 12m

    (132 sqm) - 36' 1" x 39' 4" (1420 sqft)

The back bedroom is the mirror image of the front bedroom, again a great size with light laminate flooring - lovely size room which would suit family but also two people sharing the house as lots of room to create your own space.

  • Garden

This sunny south facing garden is paved with a lovely little pond and some shade from plants - great place to relax, read or socialise.
