"Nestled in the south east corner of Walthamstow Village is this wonderful two bedroom semi-detached house. But don t take our word for it have a look at the photos and see for yourself. Beautifully presented throughout, and with a fantastic extension to the rear to create a light filled kitchen diner (as well as a separate study), this is a house that immediately feels like a home. Wander through the front door and the engineered wood flooring leads you first into the lounge, which is light and bright thanks to the full height bay windows to the front, but which at the same time feels like the perfect place to hide away when the weather is doing its worst. The aforementioned kitchen diner is sure to be a room in which any family will spend most of their time, whether enjoying family meals in the winter, or with the French doors throw open to the garden in the summer. The study next door completes the ground floor, whilst upstairs are two double bedrooms and the modern family bathroom, rounding off this lovely home.

Living here... Located in Walthamstow Village, yet within easy strolling distance of the up and coming Wood Street area, this house enjoys the best of both worlds. Head up to Orford Road and there are a myriad of places to eat, drink and see in this amazing urban village. Grab a coffee at Froth & Rind whilst you peruse the menus at the Village Kitchen, Eat 17, The Queens Arms, Orford Road Saloon (you get the picture!) or head across to the Ravenswood, where you can take in the dazzling neon at God?s Own Junkyard whilst sipping a pint of Queen of Hearts from Wildcard Brewery. Wander down to Wood Street, and there?s plenty to do there too, be it afternoon tea at Hillmans, fantastic pizzas at Marilucia, a set or two of tennis at Walthamstow tennis club, or just a gentle stroll around Hollow Ponds with any canine members of the family. Whatever you feel like doing, it?s on the doorstep of this house? In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary Despite what people may tell you, Walthamstow Village was not invented by estate agents. It?s called Walthamstow Village because it was once exactly that, a village. Once the administrative heart of Walthamstow, the Village is now content to simply be the neon capital of Europe. An unlikely claim you might think, but visit God?s Own Junkyard on Ravenswood industrial estate and you?ll see what I mean.
When your mind has been blown by the neon, pop in to Mother?s Ruin Gin Palace and Wildcard Brewery. All three businesses are based on Ravenswood, making it the most exciting industrial estate on the planet. The Village is full of quiet residential streets that all have easy access to bucket loads of pubs and restaurants. Take in the jazz at The Nags Head on Sunday afternoon, enjoy the excellent food and beer at The Queens Arms, and sample the legendary chicken and bacon jam burger at Eat17.
To walk off all the food you?ve eaten, wander to the 15th century Ancient House, check out St Mary?s Church and its ivy clad church yard, have a pint in the garden at the Castle Pub, then admire the art in the windows of the old iron mongers.
