"The roads in and around Diana Road form part of the Winns Estate, and were some of the earliest parts of that estate to be built back in 1900. Constructed by Warner Estates on the former grounds of Winns House (now the award-winning William Morris Gallery), this area forms part of the Lloyd Park Conservation Area, ensuring that the original character of these wonderful flats (or half houses as they were described at the time) will continue to be preserved for generations to come, as well as maintaining the wonderful sense of community that exists there. Just imagine living somewhere with all that history

Living here... Cool, elegant and sophisticated. No, not us (although thank you for thinking that). We're talking about this pretty fantastic example of a Warner maisonette, which has been beautifully (and to our eye seamlessly) extended to create a warm, inviting and spacious home. Take a look at the photos and tell us you don't agree, we dare you. It's lovely, isn't it? Its neutral colour palette serves to highlight the abundance of natural light that comes from being in a first floor flat, which is further accentuated by splashes of colour here and there from the pictures and furnishings. This has been really well thought through by the current owner. The loft extension is a triumph, looking like it has always been there rather than added in recent years, whilst the quality of the finish is abundantly clear in the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge and kitchen diner. Add to that the shared rear garden for relaxing in the warm summer evenings, and this is truly a flat that just demands to be seen? In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary William Morris was a Walthamstow lad, he lived in the Water House on Forest Road. His childhood home is now the William Morris gallery, the only gallery on the face of the planet dedicated to his life and work. Lloyd park, in which the gallery stands, is named after another former resident of the Water House, Edward Lloyd, a publisher of penny dreadfuls. As well as having a medieval moat, playground and a cafe, the park is also home to some great local events, including the May Day dog show which shouldn't be missed. The best dressed dog round is amazing, one year it had a Star Wars theme, staffie princess Leah's competed against AT-AT Great Danes, it was glorious. The park is surrounded by quiet streets of ex Warner properties, the bell pub is around the corner from the gallery, and the cafes of Hoe Street are just a short trot away. Give Wyndwood art district a go, this little cafe has a lot going on, including a running club and exhibitions. Tommys tuck in cafe, opposite the park, is a good spot for a hangover fixing breakfast. All this is only a fifteen minute walk from the station. Dimensions: Entrance Via front door leading into: Entrance Hallway Staircase leading to first floor.
