"If you have ever watched Grand Designs, then this house could have come straight from one of the episodes, the current owners wanted to make the kitchen bigger and brighter but not your usual extension, the result is a stunning bright kitchen with glass vaulted ceilings, with doors opening to the garden.

The large through lounge sweeps open to the kitchen nicely, wooden flooring, bay windows and high ceilings.

The owners work from home and there is a studio all powered up.

On the first floor there are 3 good sized bedrooms and fitted bathroom. The transport links are excellent as Blackhorse Road Victoria line and St James Street are close by.

A the top of the road is the high street with the longest street market in Europe with every bargain imaginable.

The area is great for schools both primary and secondary, so this house is perfect for the family.

What the Owner says:

We used a local architect to design our extension, he created an airy and sunny space which has been a fantastic family room opening out into the garden, where I also have my ceramics workshop. We renovated the house from top to bottom, including a new roof. It was great fun making the interior a surprise when visitors see it for the first time, as it is so unusual for the style of house.

This road is very quiet and friendly with excellent transport links, but also very close to Walthamstow Marsh Nature Reserve which is one of the last surviving examples of natural marshland in the London area.
