DETAILS

This tasty Victorian number sits on the ever popular Bellenden Road, a stone's throw from its shops and cafés and within a close proximity to Goose Green and Lordship Lane. The house has a smart double reception room, kitchen/diner, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a 40ft garden.

Past a tidy front garden to the front door and into the hall. There are two reception rooms to your left, with entry only to the front room from the hall. It has a bay window, charming fireplace and original cornicing. The two rooms are separated by large double doors in the centre which, when pulled open, create one large living space. The rear reception is currently used as a dining room; it has a rear aspect window with garden views and a feature wall with a swanky floor to ceiling frosted glass pane. There are tonnes of storage cupboards in the hall and a fully tiled shower room with power shower. The kitchen lies to the rear of the house with direct garden access through glass sliding doors. There are wood worktops and units arranged on the left hand side of the room, leaving plenty of dining space to the right. Mirrored splash backs enhance the feeling of space and add a dramatic touch of style.

The entire first floor is dressed with gorgeous South American hardwood flooring, as well as the hallway and reception rooms. The first bedroom makes an appearance on the rear half landing. It has a Velux window with nifty remote controlled blinds, additional window with garden views and touch sensitive recessed lights (featured in all bedrooms). Just outside is the main bathroom, having a large tub with over-head shower, concealed plumbing and over-sized sink. Nip up a few steps toward the front of the house where the second double bedroom is to your left. It has been expertly converted into a semi-open plan layout by removing the majority of the internal wall. In its place are large sliding doors and an open doorway. When the doors are pulled back, the room appears to expand from the hallway, only partially blocked by a white column. The master bedroom spans the entire width of the house to the front and has two sash windows, a gorgeous fireplace with exposed brick chimney breast and book shelves built into the alcove.

Bellenden Road is the hub of the whole Peckham Regeneration experience. The superb Bellenden Brasserie and Lucius and Richards are only minutes away while Peckham Rye station (Zone 2 for services to London Bridge, Victoria and Blackfriars) can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. So too can Peckham Pulse pool and gym, the library, high-street shopping, cinema, restaurants and Sunday Farmers Market. Warwick Gardens is very close by for a wander.
