"DESCRIPTION Winfield is a characterful natural stone period cottage which has been extensively refurbished and upgraded over the last few years. The property is located in the very heart of the desirable village of Hawkesbury Upton, just a short walk to the village shop, pubs, school and village hall. Dating back to the 1880s, the cottage has been sympathetically renovated in keeping with the original charm and character with the use of reclaimed materials. Modern updates include the installation of a brand new gas fired central heating system, the installation of a first floor bathroom, new kitchen and downstairs utility shower room. Neutrally decorated throughout, all flooring and carpets are brand new while the cottage benefits from double glazing.

On the ground floor, a front porch opens to a living room with timber beamed ceiling and an open fireplace. At the rear, there is a study area which is open to the dining room with a large window seat. The kitchen has a delightful high ceiling with characterful beams and has been well fitted with a breakfast bar, dishwasher, induction hob, oven and 1.5 bowl sink. Adjoining the kitchen is the useful downstairs shower room which also houses appliances. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a new bathroom which is fitted with a shower over the bath with matte black finishes. Externally, there is private driveway parking and a pretty front garden bound by Cotswold stone walling. The mature rear garden is well established laid to lawn areas and well stocked shrub borders.
