"1 Northfield Road is a well proportioned modern family home with brick and rendered elevations under a tiled roof. The property has been much improved and extended in recent years with uPVC double glazing throughout and offers a good sized forecourt to the front. The ground floor accommodation comprises an entrance hallway with cloaks cupboard, sitting room with gas real flame feature fireplace and laminate flooring, opening to the dining room with patio doors to the rear garden. The well appointed kitchen is fitted with an excellent range of base and wall units incorporating a Bosch electric fan oven and grill with extractor fan over, integrated dishwasher, built-in fridge and freezer and plumbing for washing machine. A lean-to/utility room provides space for a large fridge-freezer and tumble-dryer and leads to the garden. The first floor offers 2 double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a recently refitted bathroom with white suite, tiled flooring and natural stone tiled walls. To the second floor is the spacious master bedroom suite with distant field views, large eaves storage cupboard and adjacent well appointed shower room.
Outside, the brick paviour forecourt provides parking for several vehicles with a side driveway leading to the single garage and side gate leading to the rear garden (approx. 50ft x 20ft) which is mainly laid to lawn with fruit trees and a raised decked dining area. From Saffron Walden proceed on the B184 Thaxted Road out of the town centre towards the Lord Butler Leisure Centre. At the mini roundabout turn right into Peaslands Road and then left into Winstanley Road. Take the first turning on the right into Old Mill Road and then the right hand fork leading to Northfield Road. The property is the second house on the left hand side."
