"Wayside is a detached family house that has been converted from a bungalow in recent years. The property has been extended to incorporate a timber frame first floor with weatherboarded elevations under a peg tiled roof - planning ref: 08/00620/FUL. Accommodation comprises on the ground floor, a tiled entrance hallway with cloaks cupboard leading to a large kitchen/dining room fitted with a good range of wall and base units incorporating a Rangemaster gas cooker with extractor fan over, plumbing for dishwasher and washing machine, space for a large freestanding fridge and freezer and attractive breakfast bar area. Two large cupboards house the hot water cylinder and gas heating boiler and there is a side door to the garden. The rear section has bi-folding doors to the garden and covered terrace. The sitting room has a twin aspect and an open fireplace and the dining room and study overlook the gardens. The first floor offers four bedrooms; all semi vaulted with the master bedroom having an en suite shower and French doors to a small roof terrace. The well appointed family bathroom is tiled and the landing gives access to a loft storage space.
Outside, the garden is enclosed by close-boarded and post-and-rail fencing with gated access to two sides. There is a gravelled area for off-street parking and the garden is mainly lawned with a decked and covered canopy creating a lovely outdoor entertaining area. Within the gardens there is also a storage shed, stable and tack room. (The current owner rents a field nearby).Directions

From Saffron Walden follow the B1053 Radwinter Road through the villages of Sewards End and Radwinter. Proceed on the B1054 - through Hempstead and into Steeple Bumpstead. Upon entering the village proceed along North Street with the ford on your right hand side (and village shop on your left hand side). Continue to the end of North Street and the property will then be found on the left hand side on the corner of The Endway and the left hand turning for Haverhill."
