"Appearances can be very deceiving...

Occupying a plot of almost exactly 1 ACRE in this sought-after village and looking like a large, fairly wide Bungalow from the front, this is in fact an enormous 5,428sq ft chalet bungalow with a further fully detached, 2,260sq ft double storey building in the rear garden which from the outside, looks for all intents and purposes a detached chalet style house.

There is the clear potential (subject to Planning of course) to enlarge the first floor to create a gargantuan residence, which coupled with the huge rear outbuilding, would make for one of the largest and most impressive family homes in the area.

Internally, a huge double height Hall gives a real sense of space about the property, with the wide Oak staircase sweeping up to the first-floor Galleried Landing. A Central Ornate Brick fireplace separates the 20ft x 19ft Lounge from the 21ft x 19ft `Bar` area, itself open plan through to the Games Room

(pool table etc). Two further adjoining 18ft x 15ft rear rooms are presently used as a rear Sitting Room and Dining Room plus, a further Reception Room and Study give the options of being bedrooms 6 & 7.

A luxury classic style Granite topped Kitchen complete with an AGA is complimented by a large Utility Room and there are two ground floor WC Rooms.

The two principle Bedrooms are both on the ground floor and both also come with modern Ensuites. There is also a stunning ground floor Bathroom featuring a raised area for the freestanding Bath and a large separate glazed shower.

Upstairs are two further bedrooms and a potential third bedroom too. All serviced by a first-floor bathroom with bath plus separate shower cubicle.

We have called the rear ancillary building `The Chalet` as that is what it resembles. This 2,260sq ft (210sq m) Leisure building has two voluminous main areas/rooms on the ground floor, one housing a Hot-Tub with adjoining Changing Rooms including a shower, the other arranged as a large Living area with a granite topped bar to one side. The perfect party pad!
Upstairs a large entertaining area has double doors opening out to a balcony and an adjoining very spacious Kitchen/Diner. There are loos both upstairs and down and the building is double glazed.

The balance of the grounds includes an outside pool, patio, extensive lawn and a plenteous In/Out Drive providing parking for numerous vehicles.

Ramsden Bellhouse Village itself is highly sought after, with an active and friendly community plus the neighbouring town of Billericay has a mainline link to the city (London Liverpool Street in 35 minutes).
Glebe Road is one of the premier Private roads in the village, with a very handy local convenience store incorporating a post office, on the corner.
Further shops and the highly regarded Downham Church of England primary school to be found in the adjacent village of Ramsden Heath.
The nearby town of Billericay offers a comprehensive range of amenities including a thriving high street, good schools (both state and private) and recreational facilities together with a mainline rail service to London Liverpool Street (35 minutes, Monday-Friday).
Within easy reach is Chelmsford which boasts the renowned King Edward Grammar School, Chelmsford County High School for girls and New Hall Convent school.

This property really is something different to the norm, so if you are looking for bountiful square footage and the ability to develop your Dream Home, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
