"A fantastic family home has come onto the market in Tavistock Road and is being offered for sale with no onward chain. The room sizes are particularly impressive and with 4 double bedrooms there is plenty of space meaning no need to compromise on the bedroom furniture!!

The current owners of this property have clearly looked after their home and this well laid out and well proportioned house can be moved into by its new owners with minimal fuss. In addition to the main living room there is a reception room which is currently being used as a study but with its proximity to the kitchen offers a space which could be converted into a utility room. With a beautiful conservatory to the rear overlooking the garden and a downstairs cloakroom this home really offers a great opportunity for a large or growing family.

There are many improvements being made in the Laindon area and with much re-development locally attracting local professionals and London commuters this area is hotly tipped as the place to be within Basildon.

We've lived here for nearly 30 years, and as the children are leaving home we no longer need so much space.

Over the years we have extended and re-fitted the bathroom, had a new kitchen designed by Manor House, replaced windows, created a fireplace and built a new conservatory. We love the way the house faces east/west giving us the morning and late afternoon/evening sun, the large bright rooms and the study which opens onto the back garden.

What we'll miss most of all when leaving our home is our conservatory, wood-burning stove and the masses of storage space.
