"When the current owner was looking for a property they really wanted a detached house but fell in love with this one even before they had walked in. What clinched it was the location being at the end of a green and set back from the road as a quiet location was a prerequisite.

Another important aspect was the amount of space and on entering the house they could see that there was more room than in most detached houses in the area. All bedrooms have fitted furniture so storage and space are not compromised at all and with two bathrooms and separate cloakroom the school run has been a breeze!

The location has also suited perfectly, with all schools within easy reach and the High Street just around the corner. The neighbours are fantastic, too!
The house itself has seen many improvements in the last 10 years including refitted family bathroom and kitchen, Cherrywood flooring in the lounge along with a marble and oak open fireplace which makes a great centrepiece. The garden has been relandscaped, too so there is very little else that needs attending to.

What the Owner says:

We were really looking for a detached house when we viewed and had seen so many that were just not large enough but when we saw the measurements of this house we were intrigued. In fact, we loved the house before we even walked in because of the location and when we saw the amount of space that there was we were hooked.
The lounge is a perfect size for all of us and we love to sit round the open fireplace in the winter. We had the kitchen refitted in 2005 and also replaced the flooring in the lounge with a Cherrywood floor which is really hard wearing.

The bedrooms are all good sizes, too and the two bathrooms are life savers!
