In More Detail Situated on a quiet road full of similar period properties, a graceful Farrow & Ball and Fired Earth colour scheme, contemporary column radiators and original fireplaces create a consistent and sympathetic design theme. Raised Ground Floor Bespoke raw wood Dinesen floors stretch out throughout the spacious rooms of the ground floor blending effortlessly with the heritage palette and beautiful period details.

Natural light from full height windows tumbles into a distinguished main reception room where handmade Fromental silk wallpaper adds a subtle splash of colour and an intricate ceiling rose and detailed architraves emphasise the height of the room. An imposing period fireplace instantly reminds you of the charm and character of this expansive property while a glazed door opens onto a wide west-facing balcony.

A tall sash window looks out onto the large landscaped garden below creating a calm and peaceful backdrop to the adjacent home office room.

Deep crimson walls highlight the period architraves which continue in a large double bedroom. Currently configured as a study, a wide sash bay and side window allow ample light to flow into the room while sympathetically styled cabinets reside in the wide chimney breast alcoves.

An impressively large WC/cloakroom with a Lefroy Brooks suite and feature patterned walls completes the ground floor. Garden Level The pale tones of the Dinesen wood floor continue in the dual aspect open plan garden level. Wonderfully light and inviting, the versatile and sociable living space offers a perfect example of contemporary family living in a period property.

The adjacent bathroom benefits from underfloor heating and effortlessly blends the past with the present. A contemporary wet room style shower features a large period style Lefroy Brooks rose head in a sandstone tile setting and a decadent square stone basin offers a contemporary twist. Second Floor The original wood floors continue on the top floor where a well-proportioned guest suite enjoys an impressive amount of height and views across the roof tops of Hove. Wood cabinets offer plenty of storage without encroaching on the floor space and rich red mosaic tiles balance with crisp white fittings in the en suite WC. Outside Geometric Victorian patterned tiles create a refined introduction to this expansive late 1880s four storey home. Bordered by a classic collection of fuchsias and lavender the monochrome path gives an instant hint of what lies behind the yellow brick facade and a tall hedge provides plenty of privacy.

The French doors of the main reception room open onto a wide balcony which offers a peaceful vantage point to admire the rear garden from beneath its lead canopy.

A west-facing stone paved patio reaches across the full width of this home offering ample space for outdoor entertaining and relaxing on warm summer evenings. Raised stone beds feature an array of mature plants and shrubs and a fitted timber bench adds to the sense of style.

It's lovely to have a large garden and still be in a very central location. We're near to Hove Station and in close proximity to everything we need. You can walk to everything from here.

Our favourite room is the main reception with its balcony. It's so nice to sit in there with the doors open and look out at the garden and feel the summer breeze. It's such a romantic room.

We'll really miss the other families on the street. There's lots of young children and you get the feeling that you're welcome to knock on anyones door.

There's a really strong sense of community and it's a very sociable street to live on.' We wish to inform prospective purchasers that we have prepared these sales particulars as a general guide. We have not carried out a detailed survey, nor tested the services, appliances and specific fittings.
