The Area
The Bank lies in the old part of Barnard Castle between The Market Cross and Thorngate in a convenient location close to the river and Demesnes. It is within a short walk from the centre of the historic market town of Barnard Castle, which provides a broad range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities.
Often referred to as the ?Gateway to Teesdale? there are many renowned beauty spots within a short drive, beyond which can be found the attractions of North Yorkshire, the Lake District, Northumberland and the East Coast. A part glazed entrance door leads into the living room which is a bright room having two large shop windows to the front.
