Bartlemere is situated just off Green Lane, approximately ? mile from the town centre. Barnard Castle is an historic market town supporting a range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities. Often referred to as the Gateway to Teesdale there are many renowned beauty spots within a short drive beyond which can be found the delights of North Yorkshire, the Lake District, Weardale, Northumberland and the East Coast.
