AMENITIES:    Sherborne is of historic and archeological interest it has two castles, one castle was built for Sir Walter Raleigh and the remains of the old castle is on the opposite side of Sherborne Lake. The town's thoroughfare of Cheap Street has a wide variety of shops, two supermarkets, modern community hall, public library and museums. The railway station at Sherborne gives access to London Waterloo and Exeter.
