"Rainbows End is a deceptively spacious, period, end of terrace house situated in one of Sherborne Town's top addresses. The house has been stylishly finished with a 'Scandinavian flavour' but sympathetically retaining many original character features including elegant ceiling heights and a cast iron open fireplace. There is a lovely, south facing garden at the front of the property and a courtyard at the rear. This home has been finished to a high standard with tasteful kitchens and bathrooms, period-style uPVC double glazed sash windows and gas fired radiator central heating. There are lovely, south facing views from the first and second floors incorporating the two Sherborne Castles, Sherborne Abbey with hills and fields beyond. In the property, the spacious and light accommodation comprises sitting room, dining room, kitchen, utility room with downstairs WC. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and second double bedroom. On the second floor the owner has converted the loft space to a further loft room which has a range of different uses. The historic town centre of Sherborne is only a short walk away with its superb boutique high street with cafes, restaurants, Waitrose store and independent shops plus the breath-taking Abbey, Almshouses and Sherborne's world-famous private schools is just a short drive away. It is also a short walk to the mainline railway station to London Waterloo. The property is perfect for those couples making the most of the cheap mortgages available at the moment, buyers cashing out of the South East and London market or cash buyers looking for their perfect pied-a-terre home to settle in, potentially linked to the wonderful selection of local private schools. It may also be of interest to the residential letting or holiday letting market. IT SIMPLY MUST BE VIEWED TO BE APPRECIATED.
