SITUATION:  No 26, Mead Fields is situated on the northern outskirts of the market town of Bridport within easy access of local facilities.  Bridport is an active market town and offers excellent social and recreational amenities, including a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, library, art centre, health centre, schools and churches.  The coastal resort of West Bay is approximately 2 miles due south, where there is an attractive harbour, coastal walks and 18-hole golf course.  The immediate coastline is known as the Jurassic Coast and designated as a World Heritage Site.  

Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset, lies about 15 miles to the east where there is a main line rail service to London, Waterloo.
