Jordans Brook is a quiet residential cul de sac approximately one and a half miles away from the town centre. Local facilities include a convenient store, community centre and a bus services into the town.  Totnes itself possesses a wide range of individual shopping outlets, eateries/public houses and recreational/cultural facilities. to the west, flanking Dartmoor National Park, is the A38 Devon Expressway for travelling to Plymouth, Exeter and beyond via the M5 Motorway.  Exeter possesses an international airport and Plymouth has a ferryport providing services to Roscoff France and Santander in Spain.  In the opposite direction, to the east, are the attractive resort towns of Torbay and to the south the beautiful South Hams countryside and coastline.
