So named because it stands on the site of a reputed holy spring. Halwell is a small village with a church, filling station which is great for basic supplies and fantastic pasties. An inn has been in Halwell for many centuries and the present inn was built in 1874 following a fire that destroyed the original old inn. Proceed through the village of Harbertonford and into Halwell. upon reaching Halwell take the first left turning after the church and the turning for Crocadon Meadows will be found a short way up on the right hand side. Follow the road down to the bottom and Higher Crocadon will be found on the right hand side just past Crocadon Farm. Letting The property is available to rent Unfurnished on a 6 month Assured Shorthold Tenancy.
