LOCATION

Wellswood is home to the prehistoric caves of Kents Cavern, one of Torquay?s leading tourist attractions. The beaches of Ansteys Cove and Meadfoot are withing walking distance through  Ilsham Valley,. Wellswood Village with its range of restaurants, a public house and comprehensive range of shops including a post office and supermarket are within walking distance.

Torbay?s three towns - the 19th-century resorts of Paignton and Torquay, together with the historic fishing port of Brixham are backed by steep hills, creating a suntrap and micro-climate that is warmer than the rest of the country.
