SITUATION Manderville is situated close to the centre of Torquay, which is the largest town that makes up the English Riviera. Torquay offers a comprehensive range of shopping, educational, recreational and sporting facilities. There are nine beaches within the bay including some beautiful and secluded ones. An international deep water marina situated in the busy harbour where numerous events take place throughout the year including internationally renowned yacht races and the highly charged power boat championships. Within easy walking distance of the harbour side you will find a myriad of continental cafes, lively bars and fantastic restaurants offering international cuisine as well as show casing the best of British food. The bay offers mainline railway links to London Paddington and the Cathedral city of Exeter is located within 40 minutes drive as is the Maritime Port of Plymouth. Regional airports at both Plymouth and Exeter mean the whole country and the continent beyond are within easy reach. There is a mainline railway station at Torquay with links to London Paddington. DESCRIPTION Manderville provides an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the centre of this bustling seaside town. Manderville is stone under a slate roof and Stags are delighted to offer Manderville to the market only for the second time in over 70 years. OUTSIDE The property is accessed between period gate posts with wrought iron gates and leads to the front courtyard. Here you will find the triple garaging where the current owner keeps his pride and joy but equally would be a perfect home for boats or general outdoor equipment such as windsurfers and canoes. The majority of the gardens lie to the rear of the property which are extremely private for kids and animals alike. There are numerous established trees and shrubs including fruit trees.
