DESCRIPTION Manderville provides an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the centre of this bustling seaside town. Manderville is stone under a slate roof and Stags are delighted to offer Manderville to the market only for the second time in over 70 years. The property is located on a quiet tree lined road at the top of a hill and there is the additional benefit of no parking restrictions. This town house was divided in 1927 with the servants quarters being sold separately, today providing a further residential property. The property has been completely refurbished during the present owners occupation to include solar panels, air conditioning to the master suite yet retains many of the original features and in fact reinstating period features if they were missing. The property is laid out over four floors. ACCOMMODATION The lower ground floor, which is easily accessed internally or through its own front door from the rear garden and provides three separate areas of accommodation. The first is the granny flat which is currently rented on a short hold tenancy basis but would make perfect income potential or a separate flat for a member of the extended family. There is a studio which would make a fine artists studio or indeed gym. In addition to this on the lower ground floor is a further room currently used as a pool room with a hot tub. The raised ground floor provides the majority of the reception accommodation largely made over to a formal dining room perfect for dinner parties and drawing room with a myriad of period features. The kitchen/breakfast room has enough space for a breakfast table, views to the rear and a chefs dream with three sinks, three different forms of cooking and a downstairs cloakroom, there is a morning room and sitting room off the kitchen, which makes this area very family friendly. Off the kitchen is a veranda perfect for enjoying the last of the suns rays over a glass of Rose. The top two floors provide the bedroom accommodation all the bedrooms of a generous proportion with the master suite on the top floor benefiting from air conditioning. OUTSIDE The property is accessed between period gate posts with wrought iron gates and leads to the front courtyard. Here you will find the triple garaging where the current owner keeps his pride and joy but equally would be a perfect home for boats or general outdoor equipment such as windsurfers and canoes.
