Petrockstowe is a pretty village situated 6 miles north west of Hatherleigh, 13 miles from Okehampton and approx. 15 miles from Bideford. From Okehampton take the A386 road towards Hatherleigh (7 miles) and continue straight on towards Torrington. Approximately 2 miles further on from the Hatherleigh roundabout turn left sign posted "Petrockstowe" and continue for a further 1 mile into the village. Continue towards the far ends turning right in to Townland Rise.
