The Chudleigh, although designated a town, has all the charm and atmosphere of a village. It has a good range of shops and amenities including health centre, library, churches, several inns and restaurants. There are good sporting facilities which include football, cricket, hockey, bowls and horseriding. A regular 'bus service runs to both Exeter and Newton Abbot.
