Communal grounds, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court, beautiful rural setting, characterful holiday home. Open plan living area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private garden, parking.

SITUATION AND DESCRIPTION South Huish is a most peaceful rural hamlet in a delightful, unspoilt valley which runs down to the sea at Thurlestone Sands, less than a mile away. This is a wonderful beach for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, whilst a little further around the coast is Thurlestone village itself with its famous links golf course and other facilities. South Huish is also very near the old fishing village of Hope Cove which also has sandy beaches. Salcombe lies just a few miles away and is famous for its beautiful estuary, its sailing and boating and golden beaches. In between, the coastal scenery is magnificent and there are fabulous walks around the South Devon coastal path. At the head of the Salcombe Estuary lies the town of Kingsbridge which offers a good range of shopping and other amenities, and is the focal point for this part of the South Hams. ACCOMMODATION Court Barton is an attractive conversion of a group of barns into 13 holiday cottages set around two courtyards and in lovely managed grounds extending to approximately 3 acres. Facilities within the grounds include a heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool and all weather tennis court. The cottage is available on a 'lock, stock and barrel' basis as seen, ready for immediate use and the accommodation comprises: ENTRANCE HALL Large storage cupboard. CLOAKROOM With two piece suite. SITTING/DINING ROOM Sliding patio door to rear terrace with views beyond over farmland to the sea. KITCHEN Range of built in units including sink unit and storage cupboards and drawers under. Cooker/hob. Fridge. Washing machine. South facing with views over the grounds. LANDING Airing cupboard with hot water cylinder and immersion heater. BEDROOM ONE Window to rear with superb views over farmland to the sea. Vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. Built in wardrobe. BEDROOM TWO Window to rear with superb views over farmland to the sea. Vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. BATHROOM With three piece suite. OUTSIDE Accessed off the sitting room there is a private paved sun terrace opening onto the extensive communal gardens. Close by there are shared facilities which include a indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a tennis court. There is ample parking. SERVICES Mains electricity and water. Shared private drainage. Heating by night storage heaters and electric panel radiators. PLANNING The cottage can be used for holiday purposes and can be occupied at any time of the year, apart from four winter weeks and as long as it is not a permanent home. DIRECTIONS From Kingsbridge, take the A381 towards Salcombe. Pass through West Alvington and, after a further mile or so, turn right signed 'Galmpton/Hope Cove'. Follow this road to the junction at Galmpton Cross and then turn right towards South Huish.
