The cottage enjoys a level situation in the favoured village of Silverton, some seven miles to the north of Exeter, and seven miles to south of Tiverton. The village is conveniently placed for Junction 28 of the M5 motorway at Cullompton whilst there are rail links at Exeter and Tiverton and the village is set in idyllic Exe Valley scenery (served with a regular bus service).
