SITUATION It almost goes without saying that Dartmouth is a popular boating centre with a world famous regatta. It is also an active fishing port where fresh catches are traded on the quayside in Kingswear. On the hill above Dartmouth and keeping guard is the Britannia Royal Naval College designed and built in 1902 by the distinguished architect Sir George Aston Webb. The busy port of Dartmouth has approximately 2,800 moorings and the river is navigable from Dartmouth right up to the weir at Totnes. Dartmouth is really the jewel in the South Hams. For those who travelling and commuting is important Exeter and Plymouth have their regional airports, Plymouth also has a ferry terminal and Devon benefits from a comprehensive rail network with road links to the M5 motorway network giving easy access to the rest of the UK and Europe. DESCRIPTION The property has recently been refurbished by the current owners with every room receiving an extensive make over. The kitchen and dining room on the ground floor has proven to be a particular triumph and has given the property a beautifully presented and liveable heart.
