Tennacott Heights is situated on the eastern fringes of the Town and Port of Bideford. While the Quay front and Town Centre are approximately a mile away there are facilities closer including Tesco's Supermarket, general stores, primary school and health centre. The Town offers an excellent range of shopping facilities, choice of schools, supermarkets and health centres. Conveniently positioned within easy access of the Link Road which connects the area with the M5 at Tiverton. This has also improved access to Barnstaple, the area's major regional centre so that it is now within fifteen minutes driving distance. The coastal resort of Westward Ho! famed for its sandy beach, surfing and adjoining golf course is only three miles away. It is a similar distance to the yachting village of Instow.
