Location

Spondon is a pleasant village situated within access to Derby city centre and the A52 which in turn gives access to Nottingham and Derby. There is a vast range of amenities within Derby city centre to include The Westfield shopping centre. The village of Spondon itself has its own range of amenities which include public houses, schools and shops.

Our View

This charming three storey period style property has a wealth of character and is accessed via the front door which leads into the entrance hall that has a door to the cellar and tiled flooring. The dining room has a feature fireplace, beams to the ceiling and exposed wooden flooring. From the dining room is the kitchen which is fitted with a range of wall and base units with roll edge work surfaces over incorporating a one and half bowl sink and drainer unit with mixer tap, plumbing for washing machine, inset electric hob and oven with extractor hood, as well as having tiled flooring and beams to the ceiling. To the first floor, the landing has a further staircase leading to the second floor, a built in storage cupboard and access to the lounge. The lounge has a fireplace, plate rack and beams to the ceiling. Also on this floor is a bedroom and the family bathroom with a three piece suite comprising panelled bath with shower over and screen, wash basin and a low level WC. The second floor landing has an airing cupboard housing the combination boiler and doors to the two double bedrooms, both having beams to the ceiling. Outside to the front of the property there is a small garden which is mainly laid to lawn with flower and shrub borders. There is also a block paved courtyard with parking space and communal gardens. Proceed out of Derby city centre onto the A52 towards Nottingham, eventually turning left signposted Spondon along Lodge Lane.
