Location

The property is located within a cul-de-sac in the popular residential area of High Harrington. The property is located approximately two miles from Workington town centre which provides a wide range of shops, schools and amenities, as well as bus and rail links to the neighbouring towns and to the city of Carlisle.

Our View

This beautifully presented four double bedroom detached house offers family sized accommodation and benefits from gas central heating and double glazing. The property has been finished to a high standard and is approached down a block paved driveway to the front door which opens into entrance hall with stairs to the first floor, a cloakroom/WC and wood effect flooring which continues into the lounge/dining room. The lounge/dining room has an attractive coal effect gas fire set within a feature surround with marble effect backing and hearth, as well as double glazed french doors to the rear. The kitchen/diner has been fitted with a range of cream high gloss wall and base units with contrasting work-surfaces incorporating a sink unit with mixer tap and integral appliances to include an electric oven and hob with a chimney style extractor fan over and a dishwasher. The kitchen is completed with tiled flooring having underfloor heating (not tested), partial tiling to the walls and a breakfast bar. The property also benefits from a conservatory which overlooks the rear garden. To the first floor there is a family bathroom which is tiled and has a matching white suite comprising of a WC, wash basin and a bath with shower over. There are four double bedrooms, with the master having built in wardrobes and a spacious en-suite bathroom, together with the guest bedroom which also has an en-suite shower room which features a fitted mirror, whilst the further two bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. Outside there is a lawned garden to the front and a beautiful lawned garden to the rear which has steps up to a decked area. The property is completed with an integral garage which has a door from the kitchen, an electric up and over door (not tested), power and light. Directions :-

From the town centre head along Washington Street, until you reach the mini roundabout at Kwik Fit and proceed straight up the hill into Guard Street. Follow this road and leave the town heading towards Whitehaven. Take a right hand turn signposted High Harrington and follow this road. Take the first left into Ruskin Close and follow the estate around, where the property can be found at the top of the cul-de-sac on the left hand side.
