"With an imposing stone frontage and accommodation of spacious proportions, this is a delightful Victorian house in a lovely setting.

High ceilings, deep skirting boards, plaster cornicing and sash windows are features present that are all typical design from the era of construction towards the end of the 19th Century. More modern fittings have been introduced to complement these, with features such as an `Aga` cooker in the Dining Kitchen and en suite shower facilities to the two principal bedrooms. There are two large living rooms in addition to a family dining kitchen, plus three large bedrooms and three shower/bathrooms at first floor level.

Outside there is a driveway to the side with natural stone paving, and a small enclosed garden to the rear with a good sized store shed.

On the edge of the village close to its border with Pott Shrigley, the house has a lovely position on Shrigley Road close to farmland, woodland and the hills of the Peak National Park. Shrigley Road has the accolade of being placed top in the list `Best place to start a family in the UK`, in a study published by the Daily Telegraph in 2015. This is not surprising with the fantastic setting of the hills and fields that surround together with the convenience of being only a few minutes walk away from the shops, schools, coffee shops, restaurants etc. available in Bollington and Pott Shrigley. Bus stops are also within close proximity having services to Macclesfield and Stockport. Manchester airport and the access to the North West motorway network are within a radius of 10 miles.
