Winscombe Drive in Vicars Cross is a quiet cul de sac with a strong sense of community, where families of all ages feel welcome. Number 17 has been our family home for nearly 50 years. As children, we enjoyed playing ball games and riding bikes on the safe, peaceful street. The easily maintained, private rear garden gets afternoon sun, and while not huge, we never missed out on outdoor time thanks to the nearby park and sports fields just a flat 5 minute walk away. A large rear extension has served various purposes over the years from a teenage retreat to a cosy space for our parents. The location is ideal, with local shops, schools, a library, pub, and community centre all within walking distance. Two major supermarkets and a park and ride are a short drive away, and Chester city is an easy 30 minute flat walk along the canal. Vicars Cross also offers excellent transport links via regular buses, nearby motorways, and is currently being upgraded with fibre optic broadband.
