"This 1920?s family home is set in a quiet location, with Countryside walks in one direction and the town centre one mile in the other direction. From the entrance hall is the lounge which is a good size, has the bay window and original picture rails. At the end of the hall is the real hub of the house, the Kitchen/Dining room. This room spans the back of the whole property, which still leaves a large kitchen. The kitchen is handmade, has solid wooden cupboards thoughtfully designed to fit the space, Iroko wood work tops with breakfast bar, space for fridge freezer, dishwasher and large range cooker. The dining area has the added feature of a large wood burner in the back corner, enough space for a table that would easily seat ten people and much more! There are French doors leading to the garden and also a small conservatory that leads off the kitchen. There is side access to the garden from the hallway and storage under stairs. Upstairs there is a split landing which only adds character to this amazing home. On one side there is a large recess currently housing book shelves, a very good sized double bedroom with solid wooden floors and a separate WC with basin. Stepping up onto the second landing you have your choice of bathrooms. One to the left which has a walk in electric shower, WC, basin and wooden floors. To the right there is the spacious family bathroom which has tiled floor and splash back, heated towel rail, a bath, basin and WC and various storage options. There are 3 more good size bedrooms on this level, all with wooden floors and one with the added character of a nautical port hole! Upstairs to the second floor there is a large double bedroom situated in the eaves. There is a window at each end and 2 skylights in the roof flooding this room with light. There are also two storage cupboards, one housing the cold water tank.

Harbledown is a quiet and sought after village that gives you the countryside views and feel, yet has the advantage of being walking distance to the City Centre and both of Canterbury?s two train stations. The mixture of old and new culminates to create Canterbury?s unique and diverse culture. A wealth of shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants as well as the stunning scenery of the Cathedral give you a unique experience. There are two train stations in Canterbury, both of which have links to London Victoria. Canterbury West Station also has the high speed service to London St Pancras. Harbledown is also the right side of Canterbury if you are looking for easier access to the A2 and M2.
Outside
The garden is of a good size, mainly laid to lawn with mature shrubs and plant borders. It's very secure and not overlooked by other property's windows. There is a raised bed made of railway sleepers growing fruits including strawberries. There is a gravel area as you step out of the dining area from the French doors and a raised patio where there is a table and chairs and we are advised this gets the evening sun. There is access to the garage and brick built storage attached, housing garden tools, the washing machine and a further fridge freezer. To the front of the property there are trees, a section of lawn and even a black grape vine which provides plenty of edible fruit on harvest. There is access to the garage via an up and over door and space for at least four cars."
