I think it's in a great location and a few of our neighbours we will be sad to say goodbye to. It is a quiet location and the co operative is only a short walk away, as is the spar, fish and chip shop and post office. Also, I cannot speak highly enough of our landlord who has always been helpful whenever we have needed something for the house, a new boiler for example and is just a delightful man to deal with. St Ives is a popular market town on the River Ouse, which has excellent shopping, restaurants, bars and pubs. It also has the advantage of being just a short distance from the Leisure Centre which offers excellent sports and leisure facilities. Perfectly located for a comfortable daily commute to Cambridge using the Guided Bus Route, and Peterborough. The mainline station in neighbouring Huntingdon operates a regular train service to London with the journey taking under 1 hour.
