"A charming and intriguing Grade II Listed character thatched cottage, occupying gardens and grounds of 1.3 acres, providing an environment reminiscent of the children's books of a gentler and bygone era. The property is situated in the Conservation Area of the village, has the benefit of a variety of ancillary buildings, including a three bay garage and detached two storey guest cottage with inglenook and woodburner. Central to this historic village, the principal house comprises accommodation arranged over three floors.   To the ground floor a dual aspect sitting room with large inglenook fireplace is adjacent to a formal dining room of similar proportion and also with inglenook and woodburner.   A character vaulted kitchen/breakfast room with a four oven gas AGA, has an adjoining rear lobby/boot room and a utility / cloakroom.   A vaulted family room with open fireplace and guest bedroom with separate external entrance and en-suite wetroom complete the ground floor.

The first floor is accessed via a spiral staircase to the landing area serving a master bedroom and additional bedroom, both with en-suite bathrooms.   From the landing a stacked spiral staircase leads to the second floor landing serving an additional two bedrooms and bathroom.
