"Thornton Crescent is one of the best addresses in Wendover. Set just off the leafy tranquility of Dobbins Lane the railway station is but a pleasant stroll. This fine home is a reassuringly solid 1950's build that has been extended and reconfigured in line with modern expectations. The kitchen/breakfast/utility room is just so light and airy. We loved this room. This leads through to the sitting, dining and family room. It really flows well. Upstairs all the bedrooms are good even the third which is a small double. The outside really scores too. At the front is loads of parking which is always useful. The rear garden is magnificent. There is nobody behind and the plots widens to the rear and it is obvious just how much pleasure the current owners derive from its upkeep. What a joy to be able to enjoy a meal and a few drinks at one of the many eateries in the village centre and to be able to walk home afterwards or to be more mundane to pop out for a loaf of bread without having to get the car out. Be honest you can't get much better than that."
