Description

Constructed circa 1999, Beaufort House was built and designed in the 1930 s Stride style with brick and rendered elevations and incorporating double glazed windows. Generous in scale, the property caters for home working, has been marginally adapted by the current owners and should one wish, could revert to its original five bedroom status. A high quality construction with notable detail throughout, at its heart there is a sizeable reception hall with galleried landing above, four principal rooms and a recently installed bespoke kitchen.

The reception hall in the central axis with a formal dining room and double doors leading onto the sun terrace which enjoys a south easterly orientation. The drawing room is generous in scale, dual aspect with doors again to the aforementioned terrace and features a fireplace as the focal point. Location

A prime North West Bristol address and quiet backwater road, providing access to an array of amenity in Stoke Bishop Village including a post office, convenience store and some restaurants.

Stoke Hill provides access to the main arterial roads to the commercial centre and indeed the motorway networks. There are 400 acres of recreational space available on Durdham Downs and in proximity, golf courses and health and leisure clubs. There is quality schooling, state and independent and for the former, Stoke Bishop and Westbury on Trym include Elmlea and Westbury Primary school and for the later, Clifton College in Clifton, Badminton and Redmaids in Westbury On Trym.

There is a nature reserve in the nearby ward Sneyd Park which includes a lake. The Kings Weston Estate offers rambling gorge walks and the aforementioned Durdham Downs trym trail.

For day to day living there is a Waitrose in Henleaze as well as notable restaurants including Little French, all of which are within 1.2 miles
