"A 3-bedroom detached house situated in a small private cul-de-sac of individual properties within walking distance of the main line railway station. The property was built in 1981 by the well-known local builder, Charles Wadey & Son Ltd, and has been upgraded in recent years by the owners to include a new central heating boiler, replacement double-glazed windows, new guttering and soffitts and new doors to the double garage. The accommodation comprises a recessed entrance porch with timber front door opening into the entrance hall with cloakroom, fitted kitchen, double aspect dining room with French doors opening to garden and square archway leading into double-aspect lounge with a brick open fireplace. On the first floor, there is a landing with access to the boarded loft with drop-down ladder, master bedroom with wash hand basin, bedroom 2 with built-in wardobe, bedroom 3 with long under-eaves storage space, door to large storage area with further under-eaves storage space, and a bathroom. Outside there is a driveway and parking for two vehicles and a double garage with up-and-over doors, power and light, plumbing for washing machine, window to side and rear door to garden. The gardens surrounding the property have lawned areas, flower, shrub and rose beds, and are all well-screened by both timber fencing and well-established hedged boundaries. To one side there is a garden shed and to the rear there is a greenhouse. The rear garden in part has a northerly aspect and to the east and south sides there is ample room for a patio. There is potential for further extension over the garage via the large storage area subject to the usual planning consents."
